Our log cabin holidays are a perfect choice if you are planning a getaway that combines tranquillity with rustic charm. Set in 5 acres of meadow in the Shropshire countryside, our cabins combine luxury with quiet seclusion so that you can escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Wake up to birdsong, breathe in the fresh country air and marvel at the beauty of your surroundings as you unwind in the embrace of nature. We have two log cabins, the luxury Cedar Log Cabin and the deluxe Redwood Lodge.
Luxury Cedar Log Cabin
Our Cedar Cabins sit the grounds of a country estate in Welsh Frankton which is the ideal location for a relaxing stress free holiday for both you and your pets. Here you can just stay and relax or be more adventurous and visit some of our local places of interest.
These are Shropshire’s most unique self-catering properties, making them a charming alternative to the usual Shropshire cottages. Many of our Shropshire visitors tell us that it is a special experience and a real first class 5 star self-catering holiday in both our Lodges.
We are 3 miles from Ellesmere, Shropshire which is renowned for its nine Meres (lakes), Cremorne Gardens, recently restored Boathouse and the World Heritage Wharf on the Llangollen Canal.
Deluxe Redwood Lodge
We provide our visitors with a high-quality open plan accommodation, with contemporary fixtures and furnishings throughout. The spacious front terraces overlook the paddock and views of Shropshire. They are great for relaxing and dining al fresco.
Accommodation is on a single level which makes it an ideal location for wheelchair holidays. There is ample room for wheelchair movement inside, being open plan throughout. Unfortunately the lodges are not equipped with full disability hand rail facilities
There are wonderful views over the Shropshire Plains from the Lodges and the area is renowned for scenic walks, fishing, boating, sailing and wildlife.
Shropshire has many renowned historic and visitor attractions and the lodges are close enough for our guests to explore. Places include Oswestry Hill Fort, Chester Roman Walls, Shrewsbury Castle, Ludlow Castle, many National Trust properties plus the home of the Industrial Revolution, the World Heritage Centre at Ironbridge Gorge.
